Overview
What's next? is a private place for your thoughts. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs, and it makes no network requests.
Information stored by the app
Your thoughts, lists, photos and backups are stored on your device only. AndyHQ does not receive them and has no server that could hold them.
iCloud Backup
If you have iCloud Backup turned on for your device, Apple may include the app's data in your device backup. That is Apple's device backup, not a feature of the app, and it is governed by your Apple Account settings and Apple's privacy policy.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. Notification permission is optional and controlled in iOS Settings.
Photos
Photos are chosen through Apple's system photo picker. The app receives only the images you select, not your wider photo library.
Apple Intelligence suggestions
The optional Automatically organise feature uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) to suggest which existing list a thought belongs in. Processing happens on your device and nothing leaves it. When you choose a list manually, that choice is kept on the device as an example for future suggestions. You can forget these examples at any time in Settings.
Backups and exports
The app can create local backups and export them to Files. Exported backups are copies you control; they may contain your thoughts and photos, so store and share them with care.
Deletion
Deleting the app deletes its data from your device. Backups you exported to Files remain until you delete them yourself.
