Overview
Rep Bank is designed so your workout data belongs to you. There are no user accounts, no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and no developer-operated servers holding your data. The app does not sell personal data.
Information the App Stores
Rep Bank stores the workouts you log, your streaks, unlocked exercises, planned workouts, rest days and preferences. This data lives on your device.
iCloud Backup & Sync
When iCloud backup is enabled (it is on by default), your progress is stored in the private database of your own Apple iCloud account, so your devices stay in step and your progress survives reinstalling the app. Only your Apple ID can access it. Apple handles the storage and security; the developer cannot read your iCloud data. You can turn this off in Settings → Backup & sync.
Camera & Photos (Machine Coach)
If you use Machine Coach to identify a gym machine, the photo is analysed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device intelligence. Photos are never uploaded, never stored by the app, and never leave your phone.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Rep Bank only writes the workouts you log into the Health app. It never reads your health data. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app receives entitlement status from StoreKit to unlock membership; payment details are handled by Apple and never reach the developer.
Notifications
Reminders are optional, off by default, and scheduled locally on your device. Nothing about your notification settings leaves your phone.
Support
If you contact support through GitHub, the information you choose to include in your message is used solely to respond to your request.
Data Removal
Settings → Reset all data deletes your progress, including the iCloud copy when sync is enabled. Deleting the app removes all local data from your device.
