Overview
Landlord Assistant: Rent is designed to keep landlord, property, lodger, rent, and paperwork records on your device. We do not send these rental records to analytics or advertising providers.
Information You Enter
You may choose to add property details, lodger names, contact details, rent records, checklist items, notes, and document attachments. This information is stored locally on your device and can be synced through your private iCloud account.
iCloud Sync
iCloud sync stores an encrypted app snapshot in your Apple iCloud account so your own devices can share the same records. Apple handles iCloud account security and storage. The app developer does not operate a separate server for those records.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information to manage your subscription and ad-free access. The developer does not receive your payment card details.
Optional Usage Analytics
If you opt in, Google Firebase Analytics records app activity, such as app opens, to help us measure active users and approximate country. This can include a device or app identifier and technical information; country is inferred from network information, not precise location permission. You can turn this off at any time in Settings. We do not send property, lodger, rent, note, or document content to Firebase Analytics.
Advertising
The free version may show a labelled Google AdMob banner on the Today screen after the app verifies your purchase status. Paid plans that remove ads do not request ads. Google and its advertising partners may process technical data such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers when available, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, and prevent fraud in ads. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps. Where required, you can choose how your data is used in the ad consent message and revisit those choices in Settings.
Support
If you contact support through GitHub or email, the information you choose to include in that message will be used to respond to your request.
Data Removal
You can delete app records from inside the app settings. You can also delete the app to remove local app data from the device. iCloud data can be removed from the app settings when iCloud sync is enabled.
