How do I share our cat home?
The first human signs in with Apple in Herbie Settings, taps Start a shared cat home, then chooses Add People in Apple's sharing screen. Select the other human and leave Can Make Changes enabled. They install Herbie, sign in to iCloud and Sign in with Apple, then open and accept the invitation link.
Do they have to be a co-owner?
No. An invited human can see and update the shared cat care. Make them a co-owner only if they should also invite people or manage the household. The original owner can open Add a spare human in Herbie Settings, select the person in Apple's Manage Shared Home screen and change their role.
Why has an invitation not worked?
Check that both devices are signed in to iCloud, iCloud Drive is enabled, Herbie is installed, and the invitation was opened with the Apple account that was invited. The owner can reopen Add a spare human to resend or replace an invitation.
How do reminders work?
Meal, water, key-date and birthday reminders are scheduled on the device and follow its current time zone. Notification and Focus settings can delay or hide alerts, so Herbie should not be used for urgent or emergency care.
How do I export or delete my information?
Use Settings → Export care data to create a copy. Delete everything removes the local copy after a two-step warning. On a shared device, this detaches that device and does not silently erase the other humans' shared home. The owner manages or stops the iCloud share separately in Apple's sharing screen.
